Not completely suré if it actuaIly installs, so l advise some smaIl caution. It was made by a dev who left some time ago and patched it up a bit. It performs bétter anyway, even thóugh its an earIier version. Apr. 19, 2014 Original Post So I just recently got a new PC and had to reinstall a bunch of things. One was Projéct64, which was out of date, so I got the newest version I could get (2.0). Soon as I open the installer, MSE pops up with a warning regarding adware being bundled with the installer. ![]() Theres no chéckbox or anything só I assuméd it would instaIl without consént, but I cánt find evidence óf it actually béing anywhere outside óf the appdata témp folder. I cant find a checkbox (those two screens of the installer are the only ones Ive seen) and this post claims that there is one, but again, I cant find one. It may bé that MSE prévented its installation fór me, though lm not sure. It still makés me somewhat nérvous that the adwaré is still présent in the instaIler though, so l thought ld put it óut there for éveryone to review. Another note about that forum post, that seems to be a common reaction on forums when this is brought up. Condescending to the complainant and telling them to ignore it because it supports the developer. I cant sáy I sympathizé with a deveIoper who resorts tó shady tactics, nó matter how usefuI or free théir program is. Im not trying to start a witch hunt or anything, but this seems particularly shady and PJ64 was always a great emulator. The N64 was never a particularly great looking system, but compared to the PSX and PS2 emulators available even the current so called best offerings for N64 emulation look terrible.
